Learn the secrets and gain the skills of a Sommelier. This comprehensive course is ideal for the wine aficionado whether at home or in the industry. The course covers food and wine pairing, purchasing wine, dealing with suppliers, cellar management, designing workable wine lists, service etiquette, decanting, recording, guest approach and philosophy, and wine jargon. 

The Introduction to Wine @ William Angliss course (or similar wine training) is a pre-requisite to this course.

If you know a little about wine but would like to expand your knowledge with wines from all over the world, including comparative tastings from old and new world wine varietals - then this is the course for you.

Indulge in four weeks of tutorial and tastings with Christian Maier, RACV Club Sommelier.

It might be a fresh and zesty Riesling from the slopes of the Mosel in Germany, a wine made from 100 year old Garnacha Vines in the heights of the Rioja region of Spain, or a concentrated Shiraz from the Barossa region in South Australia. All account for sheer drinking pleasure with a sense of travel and discovery.
