STEP FOUR - Gather evidence

Once you have completed the self-assessment tools and identified the units of competency that you are seeking recognition for, the next step is to start gathering and documenting evidence in preparation for the SRA assessment.

This evidence is what establishes and proves your competence in the elements of competency and performance criteria for each of the units that you select from the tourism and hospitality training package.   As outlined previously, the evidence you provide must be:

•  Current

•  Authentic

•  Valid

•  Sufficient

•  Reliable

All your certificates and documentation must be verifiable and documentation appropriately signed.

Once you have compiled all the evidence, present it in a portfolio with the SRA Evidence Summary as the cover page.
