The Skills Recognition Audit Process
STEP THREE - Download and complete necessary
preliminary SRA documentation
After the initial contact and having read through necessary information about the SRA process and RTO guidelines, the next step of the process is for you to identify your individual eligibility based on the SRA enrolment criteria.
The SRA enrolment criteria are as follows:
• applicants must have a current and relevant hospitality industry experience.
• applicants must be able to prove at least partial competence in no less than half the units of competency.
This can be easily determined by:
• completing the skills and work experience self-assessment questionnaire
• completing the unit of competency self-assessment questionnaires for each of the units you are seeking recognition for
• considering the SRA Evidence Guide to determine what evidence you have to prove your competence in your selected units.
If you meet the SRA criteria and wish to proceed, the next step of the process is to:
• select a qualification i.e. Cert IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma
• select the units that make up your chosen qualification. These units will be those which you believe you have the necessary knowledge and skills to be assessed fully or partically competent
• fill out an SRA application form.
